Stonewall, Colo. – The Tercio Foundation, the local affiliate of Louis Bacon’s Moore Charitable Foundation, recently provided support to Stonewall Fire Protection District and Auxiliary for local scholarships and for their forest health programs aimed at lowering the risk of wildfires. Additionally, grants of almost $14,000 of support were provided to the Trinidad State Junior College Educational Foundation and its Booster Club for important education programs.
“With the support we receive from the Tercio Foundation we continue to award multiple scholarships each year to area students. The funds also support our firefighters when they are battling wildfires each fire season. Thank you, Louis Bacon and the Tercio Foundation.” – Loyd Holliman, Chief, Stonewall Fire Protection District
“Trinidad State Junior College Educational Foundation, its Booster Club and Stonewall Fire Protection District and Auxiliary work tirelessly to strengthen and support the people, culture and natural resources of this special part of southern Colorado – we proudly support their efforts,” said Louis Bacon, founder and chairman of The Moore Charitable Foundation and affiliates, including Tercio Foundation.
“The TSJC Educational Foundation is deeply grateful to the Tercio Foundation for their continued commitment to supporting the best educational experiences for our students. The strides made in our work to support the College are broadened by such a generous donation,” said Toni DeAngelis, Executive Director of the TSJC Educational Foundation. “We are fortunate to have a community partner who is dedicated to making a difference, for that we extend a heartfelt thank you to the Tercio Foundation!”
