Posted November 8, 2019

The Orton Foundation, the local affiliate of Louis Bacon’s Moore Charitable Foundation, provided support this month for long-standing partners in the Lower Cape Fear region. The Orton Foundation’s grants program has been supporting community and conservation organizations over the past decade as they work to meet critical human needs, and protect the area’s precious natural and cultural resources as well as communities impacted by environmental challenges.

“We are proud to work with great organizations helping Lower Cape Fear River communities thrive,” said Louis Bacon, founder and chairman of The Moore Charitable Foundation and its affiliates, including The Orton Foundation.  “Our partners are addressing pressing human and environmental challenges, and we are honored to support them.”
