02.02.2016 WASHINGTON/PRNewswire/ — Scientists, doctors, legislators, advocates and industry experts will gather at the U.S. Capitol on February 4 to discuss the latest developments in cancer prevention and mark the fifth annual National Cancer Prevention Day. This annual gathering offers a cross-discipline exchange of insights on preventing cancer.

Speakers will include Congressman Charlie Dent, Congresswoman Debbie Dingell, Congressman Steve Israel, and Congressman Tim Murphy. Reps. Dingell and Murphy will also call to order the first-ever meeting of the bipartisan Congressional Cancer Prevention Caucus which they founded in 2015. The caucus will provide a forum for Members of Congress, their staffs, the medical community, and the public to advance discussions around lifestyle and environmental factors that help to prevent cancer.
